On Sunday Feb 13, the Iraqi American community of Phoenix gathered for a dinner to honor the envoy of the Iraqi Embassy from Washington, Mr. Issam Ahmad who came to phoenix to help the new arrived Iraqis to do their paperwork back home. These are some pictures from the dinner gathering.

Sunday Notes: Jan 2, 2011

 

1-      We remind you to pay the annual membership of $200.

 2-      During this month we are preparing to elect the new parish council, we need more people to be involved in the church service.

 3-      This Thursday is the Epiphany of the Lord. Mass start at 11:30 a.m., baptisms after Mass.

 4-      This Friday is the first of the month, prayer start at 6, Mass at 6:30.

 5-      This week we will resume all our activities:

- Monday: the refugee committee.

– Tuesday: Adult English Catechism Class @7:00pm.

- Wednesday: Youth Meeting.

- Thursday: Shamashe Rehearsal. 

– Friday: Choir Rehearsal.

- Saturday: Catechism School.

* This Saturday we are opining a new class of Aramaic Language @ 12:00 noon.

 6-      Every Monday we will visit the sick and take the Holy Eucharist to them by the priest.

 7-      Annual Mass Intention’s new rules:

- one name $300 per year, the name will be read in both churches. 

– Two names $300, the two names will be read in ONE church only, and according to the donor’s will and intention.

 8-      We have launched the 2011 survey, you may fill it out to improve our church activities.

 9-      The 2011 goals: First: we have to make a new landscaping for our church land according to city rules.  Second: we have to have a Hall for the community at mar Abraham for all our social needs.

 10-  We deeply thank all the volunteers for the New Year’s Party, may the lord bless them and their families too, to make the church party succeed.

 

توصيات الاحد 2 للميلاد – 2 كانون 2، 2011

1-     نذكر جميع الاخوة بدفع الاشتراك السنوي 200$.

 2-     خلال شهر كانون2 سننتخب مجلس جديد للخورنة من 24 شخص، نحن بحاجة الى اعضاء كفوئين للخدمة المستمرة لمدة سنتين متتالتين قابلة للتجديد.

3-     الخميس 6 كانون يقع فيه عيد الدنح، القداس في مار اوراها 11:30 يليه العماذات حوالي بعد ال 12:00 ظهرا.

 4-     الجمعة هي الاولى من الشهر وفيها تبدا الصلاة في 6:00 والقداس في 6:30 مساء.

 5-     هذا الاسبوع ستعود كافة النشاطات الى الاستئناف وكالتالي:

- الاثنين: لجنة اللاجئين. 

– الثلاثاء درس التعليم المسيحي للكبار بالانكيزي. 

– الاربعاء: لقاء الشباب 

- الخميس تدريب الشمامسة،

- الجمعة تدريب الجوقات. 

- السبت التعليم المسيحي.

* هذا السبت يبدا درس تعليم اللغة الارامية في مار اوارها في 12:00 ظهرا ولجميع الاعمار.

 6-     من الان فصاعدا يخصص يوم الاثنين لزيارة المرضى واخذ القربان لهم من قبل الكاهن.

 7-     القداديس السنوية في مار اوراها بحاجة الى تحديث، يخصص هذا الشهر لتجديد المعلومات بخصوص اسماء النيات والاوقات. والقوانين الجديدة هي كالتالي:

-  اعطاء تبرع 300$ لاسم نية واحدة، ويقرأ الاسم في كلتا الكنيستين.

- اعطاء تبرع 300$ لاسم نيتين وتقرا في كنيسة واحد فقط، وحسب رغبة المعطي.

 8-     استفتاء 2011 امام الباب بامكانكم ملئه الان او جلبه الى الكنيسة الاسبوع القادم…

 9-     واجبات العام الجديد: اولا: وجوب اعادة تخطيط ساحة الكنيسة بعد ان تمكنا من توحيد الاراضي. ثانيا: ايجاد قاعة في مار اوراها للنشاطات الخورنية كافة.

 10-    نشكر كافة الاخوة الذين ساهموا في انجاح حفلة الكنيسة لرأس السنة، رغم كل المعوقات والصعوبات الكثيرة التي لاقوها، باركهم الرب جميعا.

 11- السبت القادم هو الثاني من الشهر وفيه يكون لنا قداس باللغة العربية في كنيسة العائلة المقدسة في تمام الساعة 6:30 مساء.

 12- الكنيسة بحاجة الى عازف بيانو -كيبورد- جيد للعزف اثناء القداس وللتراتيل، من تتوفر فيه الامكانية يرجى الاتصال بمكتب الكنيسة
