On October 1-2, 2010, 14 members of the Youth Group of Mar Auraha/Holy Family travelled to one of the new 7 Wonders of the World: The Grand Canyon. After a long, long, LONG 6-mile hike, we came back more sore than ever before. Even more incredible, 3 members, David Gushaba, Thomas Gabriel, and Marino Yasso, attempted the impossible: they hiked to the bottom of the Canyon, got a taste of the wonderful Colorado River and hiked back up…in 1 DAY, equalling a total of 30 miles! Well done boys! In the end, we witnessed one of God’s amazing creations, had a fun time with the friends we call family, and made memories to last forever. Our youth continues to grow, both literally and spiritually, but not without your help. Please join us every Wednesday for meetings and upcoming activities at 7:30pm at Mar Auraha and get involved. رحلة إلى كراند كنيان

في الاول والثاني من شهر أكتوبر، استعد شباب كنيستنا في اريزونا – مار اوراها والعائلة المقدسة للذهاب إلى إحدى سبع عجائب الدنيا الجديدة – كراند كنيان. أمضوا هناك فترات ممتعة جداً مشياً على الاقدام بالأضافة الى التسلق على القمم ذات المنظر العجيب، فبحسب قولهم إنهم شهدوا أعظم ما خلقه الله ابينا.
